Contract terms.
An overview of the terms between Heevay and the host. The full contract is shared before we begin.
Agreement period
The agreement runs for 12 months. After that, either party may terminate with 3 months' notice. If you end the agreement within the first 12 months, you pay 4,000 DKK and we remove the equipment at no further charge.
Ownership and operation
Heevay owns the charger and associated equipment. Heevay pays for the cabling and installation; after 12 months the installation becomes the property of the host. You then own the cable; Heevay continues to own the charger. We handle installation, maintenance, monitoring, insurance, software, payments and guest support. You provide the parking space.
Pricing
Heevay sets the charging price. The guest pays the day's electricity price plus a fixed markup, so the price follows the market hour by hour. When electricity gets cheaper, so does charging. Your krone per kWh is the same either way.
Your earnings
You receive 1 krone per kWh delivered from the charge point. The amount is fixed and does not depend on the electricity price or on what the guest pays. Payouts are made monthly to your account with an itemised statement.
Utilisation and redeployment
Heevay installs equipment based on an expected minimum utilisation. If actual utilisation falls below 2% over a 12-month period, Heevay has the right to invoke a redeployment clause. This means we reserve the right to remove the charger and redeploy it elsewhere. The clause may only be invoked after 12 months from go-live.
Termination and exit
After the first 12 months, either party may terminate with 3 months' notice. Within the binding period you may terminate with the same notice against payment of 4,000 DKK. The amount covers the electrical installation carried out at your property. The charger itself belongs to Heevay, and we take it back. We remove the equipment and restore the area to the same condition as before installation, as far as possible.
Liability and insurance
Heevay takes out and maintains insurance for the equipment. We are responsible for operating the charger and for payments made through our system. You are responsible for ensuring the parking space is safe and accessible for your guests.
